BEGINNING AT THE END (OF CAPITALISM)

What do we owe each other?

Produced by Phoebe Sullivan

This was my first collaboration with the incredible performer that is Phoebe Sullivan.
What began as a series of conversations about loneliness and the values we ascribed to things began a long journey involving discussions about the economy, what we owe each other, and practical camera tricks.
Presented in the dead center of the pandemic and affected by a lockdown, this work really tapped into the loneliness and vulnerability at the heart of trying to be a moral person in a capitalist world.

"It’s a love letter, quite literally light-years removed from the intergalactic Phera and her foes, but connected by the same forces, centrifugal and gravitational, that throw us apart and bind us together."
