THE UGLY was my second collaboration with the effervescent Phoebe Sullivan
We explored a lot of uncharted, raw, and emotional territory together. And created a work that was uncharted, raw, and emotional.
It was my first singing performance, and Phoebe's first dancing. She was magical, powerful, and sublime. I was also there.
I think we made something that touched some people profoundly. I get incredibly emotional just thinking about this work.
